Over the years ITI Australia has been recognized as a timber distribution

initiatives such as Design Pine, a joint venture with Resene paints which
resulted in the first true primed finger jointed and or laminated engineered
timber product in the market, Ezitrim, ITI's own designer internal timber
mouldings using a natural termite resistant wood fibre and durable coating that
is harder wearing for the home owner. New Generation LOSP treatments or organic
preservation systems for solid timber products, providing timber and building
materials supply stores alternatives to CCA treated pine, and Composite decking
products such as TimberTech and ModWood filling a need for alternatives to
hardwood or treated pine decking. ITI has relationships with all major local
and international timber producers giving ITI the ability to source all
standard timber products including Structural treated and non-treated timber,
Plywood, Engineered timber products, MDF mouldings, Hardwood decking, composite
products and a range of exotic species.

ITI has lead the industry with an award winning service standard as voted by
its customers, service initiatives such as our Customer Stock Management System
which allows the customer to focus on selling rather than buying timber has
been widely accepted as the premier service offer. ITI provides 24 hour
guarantee service for items that are in stock in Metro areas and 48 hours for
regional areas. These service initiatives have helped ITI build increasingly
stronger relationships with its customers.

A major factor in the success of ITI has been its people; ITI has a good blend
of both experienced and youthful staff. Since 1987 ITI has attracted and
trained young people many of whom now hold managerial positions within the
organisation. ITI's commitment to recruiting the “right” people was
demonstrated through the development of a Cadetship program which was fully
accredited in 2003. This program helped ITI ensure that as the company grew a
group of young trained staff were ready to fill the roles created by this
growth.
