Over the years ITI has been recognized as a company that continuously
seeks to challenge the industry norms. ITI has sought to differentiate
itself from its competitors by continuously searching for product and service
solutions for
its customers. Product initiatives such as Design Pine, a joint venture with
Resene paints which resulted in the first true primed finger jointed and
laminated product in the market, New Generation treatments, providing
our customers alternatives to CCA treated pine, and Composite decking products
such as TimberTech and Modwood filling a need for alternatives to treated pine
decking. ITI has also looked to continuously raise the levels of service resulting in initiatives such as our Customer Stock Management System
which allows the customer to focus on selling rather than buying timber. These
initiatives build increasingly stronger relationships with its customers as ITI
continues to provide solutions to its customers. |

PEOPLE |

A major factor in the success of ITI has been its people, ITI has a good blend
of both experienced and youthful staff. ITI's commitment to the future and the
need for skilled staff has been demonstrated through the development of a
Cadetship program which is fully accredited. Started in 2003, this program will
ensure that as the company grows there is a group of young trained staff
ready to fill the roles created by this growth securing the future for the
customers and suppliers of ITI.
